Bryan Anderson - K7GX
Here is a little bit of information about myself. I first became licensed in January, 2000 as a No-Code Technician with the callsign KD7HSG, then upgraded to General in March, 2007 and then to Amateur Extra in April, 2007. I was around people in the hobby much earlier than 2000. My father KA7YIV became licensed in the late 1980's and then joined the Sinbad Desert Amateur Radio Club. At the time I received my ticket and I also joined the SDARC. I mainly operate mobile at the moment with a Yaesu FT-857D and a Yaesu ATAS-120 installed in and on my current vehicle a Pontiac Grand-AM GT.
I also operate on my Yaesu FT-950 when I am home. The home station consists of the FT-950 as the transceiver feeding a LDG AT200-Pro auto tuner which then feeds into an Alpha-Delta DXLB-Plus configured in an inverted-vee at approximately 35' up.
I now have a Jeep Cherokee for my excursion vehicle. It has a Kenwood TM-D710 installed right now and can utilize the FT-857D and ATAS-120 from my other car when using the Jeep. So now listen for me or check out where I am on APRS.
Thank you for visiting and if you have not yet checked out the SDARC's web
site please do.
